Hysteria Guild Charter

This charter should be acknowledged by all guild members. If you have any questions concerning our charter, please feel free to contact an member of the Grand Council or the Guild Leader.

MISSION STATEMENT

Hysteria is a Defiant guild with a friendly based atmosphere for both casual and hardcore players on the Galena shard. Our focus is to explore and engage in all content and participate in organized PvP Warfronts. Organization, Communication, and Fun are what we strive for. We are a small personal guild with a maximum member count of 30 where each and every member counts and is not considered a random number to fuel the zerg. We are self sufficient and cover all trades as each member works together as a whole, this ensures crafters to be provided with the materials needed so purchase is not necessary. Assistance for quests, dungeon runs, soul specs, and general guidance will be provided within reason. We utilize a custom variant of the DKP raiding system.

RANK STRUCTURE

GUILDLINES (Requirements for Guild Master, Grand Council, Elders and Officers.)

• Be Respectful - To not only our guild members, but to other players as you represent Hysteria.
• Assistance - Help others when possible with questions, quests, general information, etc. BE active.
• Listen - To members issues, concerns, ideas, feedback. We do not have a monopoly on all good ideas.
• Communication - Be active in Council Chat, post on the forums, Be active with the members and guild. Be rational.
• Knowledge - No one knows everything, but apply what you know positively and obtain as much information about the game as possible.
• Commitment - Be committed to the advancement and well being of Hysteria
• Positive Attitude - Always be polite and positive! Any grievances or concerns please post in private or go to a private channel in Ventrillo.
• Representation - Represent Hysteria. Our guild will be viewed and judged by it's leadership.

**Abuse of any leadership/officer privileges and/or negative and abusive conduct in guild/vent/open chat will not be tolerated. Individuals who do not abide by the rules will be removed**


Guild Master
Leader of the guild. Has the final say (after a vote with the Grand Council) on anything relating to the guild. The Guild Master represents the guild. Responsibilities include promotion and demotion, daily guild functions and activities, recruitment, and organization. The figurehead of the guild that that is always listened to and respected.

Grand Council
Has all the responsibilities of the Guild Master, considered 2nd in command. Is in charge when the Guild Master is not present. Election into the Grand Council is provided by majority vote from the Council and Guild Master.

Elder
Has been a loyal and long term member that has provided exceptional support and contributions to the guild. Ranked just below the Grand Council, considered 3rd in command. Election as an Elder is provided by majority vote from the Council and Guild Master.

Officer
A Member who has been given privileges to make decisions and final calls on situations as needed. They lead specific encounters they are involved in and any form of PVP. Officers may only be instructed or answer to the ranks above them. Election as an Officer is provided by majority vote from entire guild.

Veteran
A member who has been with the guild for a long period of time and has proven themselves loyal and beneficial to the guild. They do not have officer status, however they may make minor decisions in certain situations and govern over the lower ranks as needed. Election as an Veteran is provided by majority vote from the Elders, Officers, Council and Guild Master.

Raid Leader
A special rank provided to "members" or above only. This individual is very adept at the strategies and requirements to running an instance smooth and efficiently. During a raid that they are leading, they assume a rank equivalent to an officer. They do not retain the "officer" status outside of a raid. Election as a Raid Leader is provided by majority vote from the guild, any member rank or above may volunteer for this role.

Class Leader
A special rank provided to "members" or above only. This individual has very indepth knowledge of their class mechanics. They advise other members on weapons, armor, accessories, techniques, etc to use for that particular class. They assist on providing the members of their class with information on how they are expected to perform in a raid environment. They also assist with decisions on loot items in which their class would or would not benefit. (Example: A 1h sword that drops may be better for a warrior over a rogue due to speed, etc.) Election as a Class Leader is provided by a majority vote of the players within that Calling, any member rank or above may volunteer for this role.

Member
A staple of the guild. Membership status grants full access to the forums (with exception of the Council Room). They now accumulate full DKP and have priority on loot over lower ranks.

Initiate
A member who has passed the recruitment stage and been accepted into the guild for a 30 day probation period. They now accumulate full DKP.

Recruit
An individual that has applied to the guild and been granted their 2 week probationary period. At this time they accumulate 1/4 DKP.

GUILDLINES (Requirements for ALL members.)

• Respect - Treat each member with the same respect you want to be treated with.
• Cooperation - Work with one another to completed tasks and goals. There are many situations that can be resolved with cooperation instead of going it alone.
• Contribution - Either through material contribution or general guidance and information, contribute to the guild, this is how it will grow and flourish.
• Assistance - Assist other members when possible. Help lower level members with quests or dungeon runs, help with specs, crafting, strategies, etc. Be helpful!

COMMUNICATION

Forums
Please use them! Post ideas, thoughts, guides, concepts, or how the movie you saw last night was. An active community is a healthy community. Provide feedback on the structure of the forums if things need to be added or removed.

Ventrillo
Once you receive Recruit status you will be provided with the Ventrillo information. Ventrillo is REQUIRED for Raids, Rifts, Invasions and Warfronts. You do not have to speak, but please listen as instructions to some encounters are vital and typing is not an option.

GUILD EVENTS
The Guild Leader, Grand Council, Elders and/or Officers will schedule specific events. You are not forced to attend, however please try to participate in as many as possible. Note this is the ONLY way to acquire DKP. Why be in a guild if you do not participate with the guild? Spontaneous events may occur, if you are busy or already involved we will understand. Spontaneous Instance events will NOT accumulate DKP as this provides disadvantage to others that were not informed and could plan accordingly. Please use the standard "NEED" what you need and "GREED" all else. Using "GREED" ensures the item is looted if all pass. Items acquired through "GREED" can be used for material consumption or giving to another member that may need it.

RESOURCES
All material resources are provided for free (if the guild has the stock.) We will attempt to have a supply of raid essentials such as potions, runes, bags, gear, etc that will be handed out on a needed basis, there will be no charge. Please contribute to this cause as much as possible as this will be reciprocated and the guild will flourish. We do not condone selling items you crafted, won, gathered, etc, again, all we ask is you contribute some of it to the greater cause.

DISPUTES AND CONDUCT
Disagreements will occur... Please do not argue or debate in an open channel or guild chat as it erodes the morale of the guild. Please post on the forums, /whisper an officer, or ask to enter a private vent channel. Sometimes walking away to gather yourself is the best course of action. Disrespectful outbursts, rude and obnoxious behavior, "Cool d00d l33t 5peak", and any form of negative distractions and/or drama will not be tolerated in Vent, Guild Chat or any other form of in-game chat. Individuals involved in any of said behavior will be given one warning, a second warning is removal from the guild.

IN CLOSING
We want Hysteria to be a fun and relaxed social atmosphere while still advancing through the content. We want our members to feel welcome and appreciated and to be proud to wear a <Hysteria> tag. The point of playing a game is to be entertained, without it, why play?
