New member - Dornie/Katrinity

Greetings!

Sillk just tagged me, so I guess this is more of an introduction than an app. =)

I was looking to make a guild swap for about a week and in looking around on forums, kept coming back to Hysteria. From reading through your forums and briefly talking to Sillk in game, it looks like Hysteria is exactly what I'm after!

I come from almost a decade of MMOs, starting out in EQ and spending at least a little time in most of the major MMOs out there. Outside of EQ, most of my time was spent in Vanguard and LOTRO, but I have EQ2, WoW, AoC, SWG, EQMac, Aion, HKO and others under my belt. In EQ, I was officer, raid/progression leader and briefly guild leader of Divine Phalanx, once the second-largest guild server-wide by Sony's numbers. There's still nothing in gaming like leading 72-man raids without using TS or Vent!

In Rift I come as a 2-boxed set, Dornie (warrior) and Katrinity (cleric). I used to 6-box in EQ, so the duo here is relaxing. =) We're currently mid-20s. I prefer to complete content and explore, so there's no rush to hit 50 here.

On the personal side, I'm 38, married with a wonderful husband and 9 year old daughter and living in Miami. When I'm home playtime is high, but we travel regularly, so attendance is sometimes spotty.

Welcome aboard, I look forward to seeing you online. I also like to take my time and complete content as I go instead of rushing forward at breakneck speeds. When I am done, I like to feel like I really know the area I was at and that I didn't really miss much (though that doesn't mean I didn't miss way too much). I am a tad bit of a completionist, though I tend to keep that for one character. The character you are most likely to see me on is Taren.
